Christen is back at UVA today to receive her last chemo treatment before her knee surgery. She was sick this morning, and still feeling the side-effects from the last treatment so please be in prayer for her. She will likely be in the hospital until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
The current plan for the knee surgery is to go up to CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) on Friday afternoon 4/11 for an MRI, stay the weekend in Philadelphia, and then be back at CHOP on Monday morning 4/14 for pre-surgery appointments, and then surgery the morning of 4/15.

I have not been able to check the blog for the week I have been out of town, but I have been praying for you. I will continue to pray. We love all of you so much!
Steve, Debbie, Christen and family - We will be remembering Christen and praying as she returns to Philly for her surgery. We spent some time at CHOP when our Ruthanne was 5 - 7 years old. Great hospital! If you need some church or Christian support while you are up there - let us know and we will connect you with church family that we have in the Philly area - it is where we lived before going to Australia with MTW.
