In Christ Alone

"In Christ Alone my hope is found..."

Debbie and I went downstairs to eat dinner together and when we returned we were standing outside of Christen's room talking with a Dr. and we could hear some singing inside the room. When we walked in we found that it was Christen's new night nurse, Agnes, from South Africa, singing to her and with her the song "In Christ Alone." What an amazing joy and reminder that was to us of God's love, kindness, and presence with us every step of the way. She is a beautiful, sweet believer in Christ.

Christen will be here in the ICU for probably another couple of days. She will be receiving blood this evening. They think she has blood infection, which is actually very serious. Thankfully she is in good hands and has been in very good spirits. Please pray that she will recover quickly.

Since Christen has a serious infection and the ICU is fairly difficult to get into it would be best if visitors could wait until she gets out of the ICU and into a regular hospital room.
