Home today??

Hopefully Christen will be able to leave this afternoon from UVA. They are being cautious about letting us go this time. She is sleeping now, and her nausea has been back some today.

Steve is able to work on his laptop from the room today while we wait.

I have prayed for Christen's nausea, as well as given thanks to God for Steve's job.

Ok, time for some humor:

It was Palm Sunday and because of a sore throat, 5-year-old Johnny stayed home from church with his mother. When the rest of his family returned home, they were carrying several palm branches. The boy asked what they were for. "People held them over Jesus' head as He walked by."
Wouldn't you know it," the boy fumed, "The one Sunday I don't go, He shows up!"

We love each of you!

I'm glad they are being cautious. I've been so sad for Christen knowing how paralyzing nausea can be. Staying away because I've got a cold but praying,

We're all praying... Hopefully you'll have a more solid plan in place now that they know how Christen responds. (If they don't get you home soon, they'll see her nadir in person!) Better that you are all home. Brian and Elizabeth (and extended clan)

Just wanted you all to know that you have been on our hearts & in our prayers...our earliest days were the toughest. It did get better for us ..not harder as I had suspected thinking of the "cumulative effects." Do not be discouraged..it may take a little while to figure some of these things out, what works best, who & when & how to get help & answers.
We had some things to drop by the house --but will wait to you return home. PLEASE know that the LORD is one who sees & hears..& there are also many petitioning the Father's throne on your behalf. We've been checking in regularly but had some trouble getting the comments to take.Trusting you will get a good nights rest.
