Rough night

Christen had a rough night. They grade pain on a scale of 0 to 10 (10 being the worst), and Christen spent the night at 9. They finally got it down to 2 this morning and she is finally able to sleep. We won't be able to go home until we can control the pain.

Debbie spent the night with Christen at the hospital.

Thank you for your prayers!

Christen - we have been praying for you and following your parent's postings on the blog. Hey - I just wanted to let you know I had a full knee replacement on November 8th. I am by God's grace walking normally and have better range of motion than I had before the surgery. It is hard but God has been faithful to get me through it. I know you will recover well - Know that we will continue to pray - Joining the knee club - John Burch

Praying for you that the pain would go down to a tolerable place. A "10" is no fun at all!!! YIKES! I can only imagine amazing things the Lord is doing to make such a sweet and gentle spirited young lady even sweeter! His sanctifying work is beyond human possibilities! Our loving God loves you and is with you in the pain and without today!! Praying for you dear sister!! MAL

Christen,
We're praying for you and your family. Bone pain is SO difficult, yet our Father uses all to refine the dross from the gold. We're glad they are working with you to send you home with good pain medicine. Home, in familiar surroundings will help too!
